This is a pie crust.
There are many like it, but this one is mine.
Pie Crust
Servings 2 crusts
Equipment
- Food Processor
- Rolling Pin
Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup lard
- 5 tablespoons cold or iced water
Instructions
- Sift flour and salt together
- Work in lard until mix is in size of small peas OR
- Process in food processor until mix is in the size of small peas
- Sprinkle with water a few drops at a time, working lightly with fork or processing in food processor. Add only enough water to make the pastry form a ball and hold together.
- Roll out as desired
