Pie Crust

This is a pie crust.

There are many like it, but this one is mine.

Pie Crust

Prep Time 10 minutes
Servings 2 crusts

Equipment

  • Food Processor
  • Rolling Pin

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup lard
  • 5 tablespoons cold or iced water

Instructions

  • Sift flour and salt together
  • Work in lard until mix is in size of small peas OR
  • Process in food processor until mix is in the size of small peas
  • Sprinkle with water a few drops at a time, working lightly with fork or processing in food processor. Add only enough water to make the pastry form a ball and hold together.
  • Roll out as desired
